Yeah, it's true, it's disappointing but understandable.
I mean, I don't think it's bad that the dev wants to include a male MC, he already explained his reasons and I think it's good, but I would have liked Maeve to at least remain one of the main characters and in this second part to tie up all the loose ends that were left in the air instead of being relegated to just a secondary character and romantic interest of this new protagonist.
But well, that's just one opinion and I repeat that I wish the developer all the best for this second part.
Oh yea its rushed, you can tell due to the fact if you pay attention most relationships were left incomplete in their development, the insane amount of exposition which should absolutely been stretched over a far longer narrative, taking several chapters to fully unveil, all of it show its rushed.
Its not so much Season 1 as its Dragon Age Origins to what is coming next is Dragon Age 2, forget about the current female MC, a new male MC will take her place and tons of stuff will be left unfinished from this in favor of basically abandoning this story.
Yea forget about any relationships you were building, its all abandoned and skipped in favor of finishing the story, and yea it seem Maive is pretty much gone, this game was done away with so the Dev can move on to his new alpha chad male MC in the sequel.
I doubt its even most of his paying supporters, its probably a small very vocal minority like usual, otherwise why the Hell were so many supporters invested in this story with a female MC if they disliked so much said MC that they needed to push for a male MC instead, so likely its merely the typical small minority that vocally used their paying support to tell the Dev what to do and convince him he'll be making making more money that way.
The problem is the Dev isn't including a male MC, he is getting rid of the current female MC and abandoned all of the story and relationship development in favor of moving to a new game with a new MC. Also I don't consider 'because I am hoping to make more money' as a good justification for abandoning this game, no matter what the Dev might claim their is no other explanation possible for making such a crappy move.
Like usual a small amount of paying supporters that are merely using the fact they pay to push the Dev into making the game they want, and doubtfully will even still support him when he'll have moved on to his new game to their taste since they'll have achieved their goal and the Dev will lose most of their paying supporters that weren't part of said small group, inevitably causing them to lose virtually all support at the end of the day because they gave in to greed.

Thank you for your reply I won't bother going back to this game and blacklist this dev. It is sad to see so many games I have been enjoying have such bad endings like Mech academy and Monster College but this one is the worst yet.

There are certain choices that require a minimum stat requirement to see an alternate version of the scene.... however since this is the steam version it gives you the choice to bypass the stat requirement (thus "bypass requirement" choice).

I heard that it's been said that she comes back in Part 2 thankfully but holy fuck, after the entire game, after getting railed by like half the town and getting involved in so much shit, it was all for nothing? The MILF got shafted (and not in a good way) so I hope the second part gives her a good ending. This shit was just depressing.

Don't set everything in the same volume, if you think the narrator voice is too low, then simply make the volume higher or make the music lower

Like I said many times in the thread, the game is lacking financial support, that's why the ending is rushed. I mean, what can you expect when everyone is complaining like they own the game but they are so poor and can't support the game financially. I'm working here, not doing some kind of charity.
