| A lot of focus on Syr and to no one's surprise, she has feelings for Bell. It was a fine episode. We got a catchy OP song featuring many of the cast and pretty much a reintroduction of the characters again, including Bell, Hestia, etc. They also didn't do any boring narrative recaps. Idk how I feel about Syr but she definitely has relevance so far this season. But yeah pretty much an introductory episode of the season. Bell seems to have not forgotten about his adventure memories with Ryuu either. |

| Not even a minute in and we already got somebody new joining Belle's harem... AND IT'S ANOTHER one of the guild people.. smh. At this point, the dude's entire harem is going to consist of just the guild people. Speaking of guild people, Ryuu and Belle's relationship clearly grew a lot, and I mean, A LOT thanks to last season of course, so I was wondering how they'd handle this whole thing with her and Belle, and OFC, MY BEST GIRL IS A TSUNDERE!!!! I knew I picked the right person to dub best girl. On a serious note though, I just hope we get to see more moments between Ryuu and Belle ngl. Even if it is at the cost of Syr's feelings being put to the side sadly. That won't happen though, of course, because the girl asked the dude to the festival so fucking quickly. As soon as she had approval from Ryuu, I know DAMN, well, she started writing up that letter. Got a LOT of fanservice this episode, whether it be that KINO ED, or the changing room scene, wee WON this episode. Btw, I love the fact that Ottar brought everyone together like they're getting attacked or some shit, but it's just about how Syr invited Belle lmao. Most unserious family ever. Though, enough of that SOL ecchi mixed in bs, because out of FUCKING nowhere Belle get's attacked by Hedin... he was NOT joking when he made that 'just assassinate Belle' remark. Though, ofc, to no one's surprise, Syr and Freya have some connection. What that'll be, we'll just have to wait and see. Last season knocked it out of the park and set a new standard for this show, to if this season will reach that same level, we'll have to wait and see. |

| Last season's Wistoria was just a stopgap for the real meat: the return of Fujino Omori's mainstay series of DanMachi towards the Goddess of Fertility arc. GRe4N BOYZ's OP certainly wasn't on my bingo cards when it comes to iconic DanMachi OSTs, but it's OK. Some Freya feet action for Sajou no Hana's ED, that's some sweet animation alright. It's great to see Bell again, only to add one more girl to his harem: Syr. Liliruca finally ranked up to Level 2, which is great...and too bad for her, so does Haruhime in the same manner. Season 4's dangerous journey certainly taught them a lesson, and on the brink of the upcoming Goddess Festival, Ryu certainly has her moments with Bell...but it's still not enough for her to just forget and forgive Bell for being naked around him in the dungeon, he's clear-minded while she's clearly not. She's definitely also slowly falling in love with Bell, but getting her life back in one shape is the utmost priority right at this moment. To think that the best girl's battle for Bell starts here, Syr and Ryu are one thing, but for the "Nameless" Horn serving the Freya Familia sending Bell a letter as a messenger, all the rest can think is nothing but trouble...being a love letter from Syr herself, delivered straight to their doorstep. But Syr is very much unlikely from Freya's family, though Liliruca offers her advice that all of this seems normal that Syr would do something like this...and the Freya Familia is pretty much all up in arms in the same manner of this romantic farce, being that their master saw something in Bell from the very start, and Hedin Selland targeting Bell in a swift move, he means business. Syr has made her point clear to Freya, but her role in the Freya Familia is also on the line. Will it be the Goddess of the lowly maid servant herself to win Bell's heart first? A great return, more DanMachi content is always good. |

| We are back with s5 of Danmachi. The sheer joy I felt watching the episode. Ryuu was so cute blushing and getting flustered. She has fallen hard for Bell. We also got focus on Syr who sent Bell an invite for a date in the goddess festival but wait she's part of the Freya family. She even met with Freya and made a deal. What could be their secret? Opening song has some hints. Just watching Freya always has me feeling things. That ending song with Freya visuals is absolute peak, holy shit. As a Freya simp I couldn't be more delighted. Super excited for upcoming episodes. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| Danmachi is back, yeah! This season is going to be a blast. But damn, that OP really spoils the whole story for those who don't read the LN. They really cranked up the ecchi with some scene and specially that ending. It's a Freya smorgasbord. |

| Nice to see Danmachi back, it’s grown on me a little more over the last few seasons. The episode was mostly just a re-introduction to the cast and setting, along with seeing Bell have a bunch of baddies fawning over him per usual lol. Interesting post-ED scene though. And speaking of the ED, foot fiends will be rejoicing. I’m not a feet guy, but the close-ups on the rest of Freya’s body were definitely appreciated 😏 I don’t think I’ll skip the ED this season lol. |

| Looks like there’s more to the Syr than that catches the eye, eh. I remember there was a small tease last season of her but she’s basically more or less background so far. I’m sad that Ryu-san will probably be secondary from now on. I’ve heard that there’s going to be a bit of content to adapt this season, so I’m curious if this will just be a cour or two. Damn, the ED is straight out of … good land, lol. Goddess Freya is going to be making a lot of fans by the end of this airing, so hats a given. |

| Probably the most annoying trope in anime. "This girl likes you so you have to die!" like get over yourself. Anyways was a good start kinda funny they kept Syr a secret for so long, I mean knowing about mythology kinda makes it a bit obvious. |

| Good to be back in DanMachi, been a while hasnt it, Part 2 of the 4th season was Winter 2023 and it’s now Fall 2024, guess not really that long but it feels like it lol, and that was the first season of the show I caught as it aired since me and a buddy of mine watched the rest together up to that point, definitely been missing it so it’s good to have it back. And looks like this season is focusing on a character that’s kinda been in the background for a while, being Syr, I always thought she was cute but the unfortunate thing with her is that she hasn’t gotten much focus, and Bell’s harem is ever growing so she’s falling behind lol. But that’s changing this season with her love letter proposal, I respect the play but man it hurts to see Ryu forced to suppress her newfound feelings for Bell after the events of Season 4, although her moments with Bell in this episode were super cute before Syr made her move. And I’m ngl, all this time I thought it was hinted that Freya and Syr are the same person, but the post credits scene showed that it’s not that simple, well now I feel dumb lol, but she definitely has ties with Freya so perhaps it’s not that far off, now I really wonder what’s truly going on. And although the episode was mostly fun times with the Hestia Familia, Freya’s Familia don’t seem too happy with the developments regarding Syr, poor Bell got his ass beat but at least the scene looked awesome lol, hopefully he has bones left next time. And we got another great OP and ED combo for this 5th Season, the name GRe4N BOYZ is making me laugh tho because of a YouTube channel of the same name, not quite spelled the same tho lol. And nice to have sajou no hana again for the ED, they never miss, but good lord I was not ready for those Freya visuals, the animators sure are skilled to make something so amazing with one hand lol, that was an entire feast for the eyes, thanks for blessing us with that. |

| A new season of me marveling at whoever designed Hestia's gravity and physics defying dress that accentuates all her best features, only to realize her outfit while fantastic isn't even the most revealing one on the show by the time I got to the ED. What on earth kind of Milkshake is Bell making since he's bringing all the girls to his yard? My fears that this season would be slow without the dungeon insanity of S4 were laid to rest when Bell was suddenly attacked at the end of the episode, and there we have it, the signature sakuga fights. Hope to see more action like that, this is a good sign for the season! |
